We nurture partnerships across the marine tourism industry to achieve widespread adoption of sustainable marine tourism practices and drive industry change.

Strategic Partnerships

PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors): Reef-World has partnered with PADI since 2018, leading to the creation of the PADI Eco Center credential, which recognises dive operators with exemplary environmental performance, evidenced by Green Fins membership. This collaboration incentivises dive operators to adopt sustainable practices to achieve this prestigious designation.

GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council): As a member of GSTC we strengthen the global adoption of sustainability standards in tourism. We provide inputs to the GSTC Destination and Industry Criteria and represent marine tourism environmental standards at conferences and meetings.

DiveAssure: DiveAssure partners with us to increase the uptake for the Green Fins Diver e-Course, providing discounts for their dive insurance for customers who have completed the course. Additionally, they proudly support top Green Fins Members across the globe with grants to fulfil their sustainability and conservation goals.

ZuBlu: This dive holiday booking platform showcases Green Fins Members through its search filters, making it easier for eco-conscious tourists to find responsible operators. They also collaborated on promoting sustainable diving practices through the Green Fins Diver e-Course.

HelloDive: We've partnered with HelloDive, a digital platform for dive information and booking, to promote responsible diving among the Chinese community. By integrating Green Fins resources into their platform, we aim to raise awareness and encourage sustainable practices throughout the diver's experience, reducing environmental impact.

Dive’O’Clock provides a comprehensive platform for dive training and courses and promotes environmental education through our Green Fins Dive Guide e-Course.

PADI have been partner of The Reef-World Foundation for years. They have enabled us to enhance our operational sustainability profile in the diving industry and have provided a further incentive to our customers to choose us over our competitors.”

We regularly host the Sustainable Diving Think Tank and Sustainable Diving Dialogue at ADEX Singapore, in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme and Underwater360. These workshops bring together industry leaders and operators to explore key environmental themes and challenges facing the industry and aim to shine a light on industry sustainability leaders, share lessons and inspire others.

Reef-World also regularly attends the DEMA (Dive Equipment and Marketing Association) Show and Boot Düsseldorf to conduct sustainable marine tourism presentations and workshops and support our industry partners.
