What to expect from our recruitment process

We provide clear timelines, and when and how you can expect to hear from us.

Multiple members of staff review applicants, and we use a skills and experience rubric to assess candidates, ensuring that we check any biases we might have.

If any tasks are set as part of the recruitment process will be time-limited and strictly to assess a candidate’s skill set.

Interviews are stressful enough, and we don’t want to hire based on how good you are at interviews, but on how well you fit our team and the role.

We want you to be able to assess if our culture and ways of working are the right fit for you.

Conservation is extremely competitive and feedback is so useful when applying for jobs. We can’t give individual feedback, but we can send all applicants feedback on the general themes and observations we make for that role.

It takes time to settle into a new team. We co-create an onboarding plan with new staff with clear time-bound goals and plenty of space for socialising and getting to know our team.
