Following the success of previous events, The Reef-World Foundation - the international coordinators of Green Fins - will again be leading a series of Sustainable Diving events at ADEX Singapore (11-14 April 2019) and will be presenting the Green Fins Award to the Green Fins member with the lowest environmental impact.

Exciting news! Reef-World has recently partnered with the French cosmetic company Caudalie through the 1% for the Planet movement.
It’s been nearly two years since I arrived in Philippines for the first time. Lost, confused and naively convinced to spend $40 on a taxi when there were free shuttle buses right behind me. After a life changing two months I had always hoped I’d be back. And here I am - with new goals, new skills to learn and a little bit more life experience behind me.
The Reef-World Foundation were invited to participate in the Coastal and Marine Rehabilitation Orientation workshop in Boracay in December 2018. With over 100 participants actively engaging in determining coral reef threats and identifying solutions, our Project Manager Sam is hopeful for the future.

The end of the year always provides an opportunity to reflect, download and consider. For me 2018 has been a huge year of change. A small addition to my world resulted in me taking a few months away from my work, something I never imagined would be possible both professionally and personally. But this little creator of change (A.K.A Olivia) forced me to step away from the daily running of Reef-World and become immersed in something a little less salty and a little more vomit-ridden.
As the year comes to an end, the Green Fins IYOR Campaign does too. After much hard work three new infographics were released, #RedefineTheDive, #AlternativesToAnchoring, and the last one: #DoNotFeedTheFish.
